Regular servicing is the best way to keep you on the road and trouble free. People are increasingly aware that there is effectively no difference between a main dealer service stamp and that supplied from a reputable third party garage. Our Unipart affiliation offers even more reassurance in this regard; ensuring that all replacement parts match the quality of the originals.
At Mayfords, we are able to offer 3 levels of fixed price services, based around our ultra competitive pricing structure. We offer exceptional value for money, particularly given the OEM quality parts, oils and lubricants we use, combined with our exceptional workmanship.
Alongside our 3 service levels, we are also able to offer bespoke servicing, tailored individually to the customers own requirements.

Service Levels
Interim Service (Minor)
Our interim service provides a full health check for your vehicle, including an oil and filter change along with a pollen filter change if required. A full diagnostic check will be undertaken, with any potential problem areas being highlighted. We never carry out work unless the customer has approved it. The service will also check the running gear, suspension and associated components. A service stamp will also be provided, giving you piece of mind and keeping your service history intact, which is vital to maintaining the value of a vehicle.
Full Service
Our second option is a full service, which should ordinarily be undertaken every 12,000 miles. This option includes all of the work undertaken as part of an interim service, along with checking areas such as the gearbox oil level, adjusting of all drive belts if required, along with a more detailed inspection of the running gear, exhaust and engine. We will top up coolant and fluid levels if required and of course provide a service stamp.
Major Service
This is the most comprehensive service option we offer on our fixed price plan. This level of servicing should ordinarily be carried out every 24,000 miles. During this service, alongside all of the work and checks undertaken in the interim and full service options listed above, every aspect of your vehicle will be checked and assessed in detail, covering all parts of the vehicle from the bodywork, engine and electrics to the braking system, suspension and exhaust.

MOT
Alongside our extensive servicing and repair options, our technicians are fully licensed by DVSA to carry out MOT tests, as required on an annual basis once vehicles exceed 3 years of age.
We would recommend undergoing a service at the same time as your MOT test; we will undertake the service first, which allows our skilled technicians to spot any potential issues that may have an impact on the vehicle passing the test; any work required would then be discussed with you, the customer, prior to us undertaking any unauthorised work, or indeed starting the MOT test itself.
